CLF Releases Radio Ad In OH-12 Featuring U.S. Senator Rob Portman
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a radio ad, “Effective Leader,” airing in the special election in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District. The ad features United States Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) endorsing Troy Balderson and encouraging Ohio families to vote for Troy on August 7. The ad will air in the Columbus media market. Additionally, U.S. Senator Portman recorded a robocall to reach voters across the district as part of the get-out-the-vote effort.
“When it comes to getting results for Ohio families, no one has accomplished more than Senator Rob Portman. Senator Portman is asking Ohio voters to join him in supporting Troy Balderson on August 7th so they can work together on the important issues facing Ohio families today,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “In Congress, Troy Balderson would join Senator Portman in putting Ohio families first, unlike Dishonest Danny O’Connor who would support Nancy Pelosi for Speaker and be a rubber stamp for her extreme, liberal agenda.”
In addition to a television and radio ad campaign, CLF launched a field program to support Troy Balderson made up of a district-wide phone and door-to-door GOTV effort which will result in over 500,000 doors knocked by Election Day on August 7.
