Looks like Lisa Brown’s terrible week is getting even worse…

Last Thursday Washington Examiner reported on Lisa Brown’s Ph.D. thesis from 1986. Citing her thesis, Washington Examiner reported Brown ”is inspired by communists and socialists.”

As reported by Washington Examiner:

As a feminist … I am also inspired by great women activists, such as Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and Emma Goldman,” Brown wrote in her thesis acknowledgments…

Flynn, a founding member of the American Civil Liberties Union, became the chairwoman of the U.S. Communist Party in 1961, and once said capitalism was incompatible with “human welfare.” Brown quoted Flynn in her thesis as someone who called on people to “hail to” and “work for” a “Socialist America.”

But that isn’t the only time Lisa Brown has touted the former Chairwoman of the Communist Party.

Washington Free Beacon reported yesterday that “Lisa Brown named communist leader Elizabeth Gurley Flynn when asked ‘Who is the greatest hero we have never heard of?’ in a May 2017 interview with the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane.”

Lisa Brown’s support for communist and socialist leaders proves that she is too out of touch and far-left for Washington’s 5th Congressional District…
