That didn’t take long.
Several House Democrats in Southern California recently held town halls and were confronted by uncompromising liberal activists demanding action on a wish list of progressive priorities.
Katie Porter, Mike Levin, Katie Hill, and Gil Cisneros faced hostile questions from a base pledging to hold them accountable in support of a far-left agenda like a government takeover of healthcare that would eliminate private insurance and a “Green New Deal” that would skyrocket taxes and could increase the energy bills of working families.
As 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls sprint to the left, vulnerable House Democrats will be torn between a radical liberal base and the moderate voters who decide elections in their districts.
This is just the beginning.
As one activist ominously put it, “We’re going to keep following him.”
