CLF Releases First Ad “The Truth Strikes Back” Against Jon Ossoff in $1.1 Million Campaign

Advertising on TV and Digital in GA-06 through April 18

WASHINGTON The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced initial spending of $1.1 million in Georgia’s 6th congressional district special election race. The independent expenditure kicks off with an ad introducing voters to Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff. The ad, “The Truth Strikes Back,” exposes Jon Ossoff as a dishonest 30-year-old frat boy playing dress-up who is now pretending to be a grown-up.

“It is sad that the hope of the Democratic Party rests on a 30-year-old frat boy who has spent his adult life living outside of Georgia’s 6th district playing dress-up with his drinking buddies,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “The truth is Jon Ossoff simply isn’t being honest with Georgia voters – and if you like Jon Ossoff playing Han Solo, just wait until you see what we release next…”

The ad will air in the Atlanta media market beginning Thursday, March 2, and the ad buy runs through election day, April 18. The campaign includes a 60-second and 30-second version of the ad that will run on TV and online platforms.

ANNCR: Jon Ossoff really wants you to think he’s ready to be in Congress.

OSSOFF: I’ve got 5 years experience as a national security staffer.

ANNCR: There’s just one problem.

Ossoff wasn’t exactly fighting against terrorism…

…he was fighting against restrictions on keg parties.

You see, Ossoff was just a college kid…

…doing things like dressing up with his drinking buddies and

pretending to be Han Solo.

OSSOFF: “I’m Han Solo. Captain of the Millennium Falcon. She’s the baby who ran four kegs by DOPS in under 3 parsecs.”

ANNCR: And here’s Ossoff and his college buddies making fun of Georgetown’s female students.

OSSOFF: “Georgetown girl

You know she’s living in her M Street world

She never tires of her high-class toys.”

ANNCR: Jon Ossoff: Not honest. Not serious. Not ready.

Sorry, Jonny.

But the Truth Strikes Back.
