Congressional Leadership Fund Releases New Ad “Kathy” in GA-06

Ad highlights how Jon Ossoff is the candidate of extreme out-of-state liberals

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, announced its latest ad, “Kathy,” in Georgia’s special election race. The ad highlights how Jon Ossoff is the candidate of extreme out-of-state liberals and those in the “resistance” movement, who have helped Ossoff raise millions of dollars, catapulted his campaign to national prominence, and are more concerned with obstruction than solutions to issues facing American families.

The ad comes on the heels of both Democrats and Republicans condemning Ossoff-supporter Kathy Griffin for posing with a disturbing replica of President Donald Trump’s bloodied, decapitated head. Griffin is a vocal supporter of Ossoff’s campaign, yet Ossoff has remained silent for over 48 hours since the image first became public, refusing to denounce the photo and actions it suggests against the President of the United States.

“Jon Ossoff has refused to denounce his supporter Kathy Griffin for over 48 hours after posting distributing images of her and President Trump. His silence speaks volumes,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “To disagree with a President, or any elected official, on issues or beliefs is normal and often even celebrated in our democracy, but the actions coming from extreme liberals like Kathy Griffin have absolutely no place in civil discourse. Ossoff’s silence further proves he can’t be trusted to represent Georgia values.”

The ad starts running Thursday, June 1, and is part of CLF’s $6.7 million independent expenditure campaign in the race.

ANNCR: Liberal extremists have gone too far.

Smashing windows.

Burning cars.

Dividing America.

Now a celebrity Jon Ossoff-supporter is making jokes about beheading the President of the United States.

It’s not funny.

These angry liberals will go to any extreme to elect Jon Ossoff.

There’s a reason ninety-five percent of Ossoff’s campaign donors are out-of-state liberals.

He is one of them.
