WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released their first ad in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, “Risk.” The ad highlights Nancy Pelosi’s support for Abby Finkenauer, and details what the liberal Finkenauer-Pelosi agenda would mean for Iowans. The ad will run on television in the Cedar Rapids media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Career politician Abby Finkenauer is one of Iowa’s most liberal legislators, and Nancy Pelosi is backing her because she’d vote the same way in Congress,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “The Finkenauer-Pelosi agenda would mean more sanctuary cities and massive new taxes on the middle class to fund a $32 trillion government takeover of health care. Iowans can’t afford Abby Finkenauer in Washington.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
